Greensboro, bitches!
We are trying to bring this movie to Greensboro Monday, April 21st at the Brassfield Theater on Battleground.

Film description:

Only a 9-year-old would dream that a lemonade stand could free 500 enslaved children. What followed became so much bigger. After seeing a photo of two enslaved boys in Nepal, Vivienne Harr is moved to help in the only way she knows how: by setting up her lemonade stand. With the goal of freeing 500 children from a life of slavery, she sets up her stand every day, rain or shine. As Vivienne's vision begins to show promise for something greater, her community stands with her — and she develops her own Social Purpose Company. In telling Vivienne's story, #standwithme examines the realities of modern-day slavery, the role we play in it as consumers, and the importance of knowing the story behind what we buy.

We need to have 79 tickets pre-purchased to bring the movie to Greensboro. If you're interested, follow this link:

I was waiting for the rest of that :)

Tugg.com is pretty cool - using it to bring another flick to PDX, too.

lol, no - Half the Road

Bump one time, then I'll let it die.

Only 1 week left for folks to buy tickets. As it stands right now, we need 24 more sold to guarantee that the event happens. If you are in the area and want to join the discussion about how we can be a part of ending modern day slavery.

Just posted to my Facebook account & Tweeted hope it helps. Looks like a great movie.

Awesome! Thanks, Tardawg

we only need to sell 20 more tickets, so if any of you are interested, go ahead and go to http://www.tugg.com/events/8548 to get your tickets (and bring a friend).

Also, after the theater run of the movie is through, we'll have a few digital copies of the movie - and we'll enter every email address attached to a ticket purchase into a drawing to WIN your own copy of the movie.

Blog with a little more info

Thanks to everyone who bought tickets and spread the word about this movie. We hit the threshold to guarantee the movie late last week, then sold out of our total 100 ticket allotment over the weekend. We just got word that we've received a theater upgrade to a bigger theater @ Brassfield and they have released 44 more tickets. If you are in or around GSO, come out. Tickets can be purchased from the link above up until 2 pm on Monday, April 21st. We won't be selling tickets at the door that evening. If you're interested at all, try to make it to Brassfield that night. As of now, this is the only scheduled showing of the film in NC.
