And people shouldn't act like this is so much worse because it's strippers/escorts being hired. You think the hot coeds that show up to entertain 5 star recruits at Alabama aren't being paid a fee on the side?

I know for a fact that there were female "escorts" for UNC recruits in the 60's.

But yeah it's all about that new-age money grab. Damn kids.

The ACC is a perfect example. Money is the reason the ACC went from a geographically-compact 8-team conference where each school had long rivalries with the other schools in the conference and played every other school every year in football and home-and-home every year in basketball....to a ridiculous 15-team conference spread from Syracuse to Louisville to Miami, where WF is playing Louisville, Syracuse & Boston College every year in football instead of its biggest rival, Carolina.

I think I was about 11 when I figured out the role of the Deacon Angels. They were always so much hotter than the cheerleaders.
