Cubs will be starting 4 1st round picks under the age of 27 in the field for 2016 - and potentially 5 if Baez ends up starting somewhere. That seems like it might be rare.

It’s not that we don’t want that fan to sell it, but that fan is sitting there having paid a substantial amount of money for a ticket and [another] fan picks it up for a buck-and-a-half and sits there, and it’s frustrating to the purchaser of the full amount . . . And quite frankly, the fan may be someone who has never sat in a premium location. So that’s a frustration to our existing fan base.

That was from the Boomer & Carton show on Thursday morning - sort of out of context, but still, it was douchey - Boomer agreed that he didn't like sitting next to people at Rangers games that paid less than him and/or did not belong.

It seems like a dumb move regardless, I think the Yankees think this will mean more people will buy tickets at face value through their own exchange or box office, when all it means is they will have less people attend.
