#48 Brandon Chubb

Think he was talking about any kind of pro or arena try out he could get.

Yeah. He's going to explore all potential professional football options, but then fairly quickly move on to using his degree to its fullest extent if something doesn't break in his favor. He has no eligibility remaining and would be welcomed back with open arms at Wake if he did. Must have been some sort of misunderstanding with the question and answer for both of you folks to believe he said something like that.

He said he wanted to continue to play football. The rest was all assumed.

Well that's pretty simple then. He wants a chance to play at the next level and he's going to explore every potential avenue. Deacs are not only losing a couple of excellent linebackers, they're losing a couple of great young men. It'll be interesting to see who fills the leadership void going forward.

You are exactly right, RivalsLes. He said when he knew the football was over, the hair would get cut. A big congrats to Brandon Chubb! For a WFU player to make 1st team all ACC, you have to be above and beyond excellent!

Ultimate respect of the press. The coaches had already given him the respect last year ( second team )

The new NCAA record holder for punting relegated to the second team? Again and again, Kinal proved the value of a punter with technique and control. To some degree, he defined the real potential of a punter's contributions to the success of the team.

And if there was an ALL-ACC position for PAT/FG holder he'd be 1st-Team ! Great hands all year dealing with snaps all over the place.
