HRC doesn't want Johnson in the debates because she wants to maximize the contrast between Trump and herself for a full 90 minutes with no other candidates on the stage. Her tone was fine. Compare it to Ryan's "endorsement". Ryan looked like he a drugged sleep deprived hostage victim. Trump still won't call off his attack dog Palin on Ryan.

Trump's way too easily baited. He lost it when a SuperPAC posted a semi nude photo of his wife from GQ. Was a published picture, not something that was hacked. Predictably Trump exploded by posting an unflattering picture of Cruz's wife. HRC calmly rebuked Trump and Trump responded by ranting in front of crowd in a city and state he'll lose by double digits.

As predicted, there was violence and riots in the streets. Fuck those assholes, but it's not like Trump didn't know it was going to happen. Trump continues to fan the flames and put people at risk. Not exactly responsible leadership. Is the death of a minority Trump hater or an OWG Trump supporter in/around a Trump rally a net positive for America?

Trump's walking back his attacks on Cruz and Martinez. GOP donors have told him to STFU and stop firing on GOP loyalists if he wants to raise $1B in 4-5 months. Election was already over when Colin Powell endorsed Obama in 2008 and more likely that Bob Gates endorses Hillary than Trump. Why alienate respected centrist 'Pubs when you desperately need blue and purple states?

If you are Susannah Martinez, I don't see how you can in good conscience accept a Trump apology and know its legit. There is no way in hell its legit. Not that it ever was, but NM was never going red.

Greg Abbott’s top consumer attorneys built a $5.4M case against Donald Trump, but it never happened

“The decision not to sue him was political,” John Owens told The Dallas Morning News. “Had [Trump] not been involved in politics to the extent he was at the time, we would have gotten approval. Had he been just some other scam artist, we would have sued him.”

Abbott’s communications director, Matt Hirsch, responded to Owens’ allegations late Thursday, saying, “The Texas Attorney General’s office investigated Trump U and its demands were met — Trump U was forced out of Texas and consumers were protected. It’s absurd to suggest any connection between a case that has been closed and a donation to Governor Abbott four years later.”

It's exactly what they are. Protestors get pushed out or roughed up at a Trump rally where they are constantly disruptive, and Trump's responsible for inciting poor behavior. Trump supporters get beaten and have their property destroyed, and they apparently deserve it or Trump is to blame again.

Trump doesn't need NM, but he sure as hell needs CO, NV, and AZ. Inexcusable unforced error. Ryan surrendered the GOP to Trump. GOP now owns rounding up and deporting 12M people and building a wall. Pete Wilson lost CA Latinos forever in 1994 and ultimately gave Dems every statewide office and a legislative super majority.

Clearly Martinez wanted no part of being Trump's VP. Has to attend the convention because she's the Republican Governor's Chair, but can't get anywhere near Trump if she plans to run for Senate.

I know you have to love liberals. Don't judge all by ones actions but call protesters thugs and all latinos should be appalled.

CO & NV are not attainable for Trump and may turn permanently blue after this election. AZ probably remains red but resources will have to be spent here to make it so. Unthinkable before Trump became nominee.

It's gonna get bad if they try that shit in TX or FL or some other state that loves its guns and some asshole rocking a car or busting a taillight gets shot.
 
I'm just pointing out that the word "thug" has a racial tinge to it - regardless of if you think that's fair or not - and that calling protestors "thugs" - deserved or not - is not going to help him anymore with Latinos than anything else he's doing.

what word could one use to describe the protesters as punks because thats what they are that would be agreeable to you and not upset all Latino's?
 
Violent protestors? Something like "I respect everyone's right to voice their opinion peacefully, but I do not condone violence and attacking others while protesting. That's not what America is all about. Make America Great Again."

So if we all starting calling the protesters like last night the "violent protesters" you think that would not eventually be viewed as racial? violent is ok and thugs is inflammatory?
 
Not to the degree that a word like "thug" does. They're protestors who are acting violently. I think that's an interesting question though.

As opposed to Trump telling his supporters that he'll pay their legal expenses if they punch or beat up protesters. Or Trump saying , "you know what happens to those who open their mouths" He does this over and over and you call him blameless.

The violence at his events was started by his supporters not the protesters and he encouraged it.

But to you and 89, he has no fault.
 
I think Trump has facilitated the rise of violence at protests to some extent, but I also think that protestors are going way too far when they physically attack other people because they dislike Trump.
