Rondale Watson & Andre Washington transferring

Does age really hurt him for a college team though? Not sure why that would matter, should just have a more physically mature player. FSU had like a 26 year old man a few years ago that was absolutely manhandling a skinny teenage Carson Desrosiers.

Agree that age shouldn't be an issue as long as he meets NCAA requirements. Age wise, he would be about like a player who went on a Mormon mission and then returned to school.

I am confident this was posted earlier on another thread, but since we are talking about WF hoop players landing elsewhere: Madison Jones transferred to Mercer. He will have one year of eligibility for the Bears.

Hudson comes with baggage, but he also has talent. He will have plenty of options.

Where was Madison this past season? Just taking classes as a regular student at Wake?

He should go to a NAIA school, try to put up about 25 a game, and hope to work his way into professional basketball somewhere. It will probably be south america at first, but if he can play, he will find his way to Europe.

Hudson doesn't seem like much of a pro prospect at any level.

Just goes to show you that there are a lot of schools that get infatuated with grad transfers, despite evidence that the grad student might be getting in way over their head. Ain't no way that Washington can play for Providence or Purdue.

Andre narrowed it down to Providence and ECU before choosing the Pirates. He said Providence, as a school, reminded him of Wake. One of his mentors is Bill Hodges, Larry Bird's coach at ISU. Hodges spoke very highly of Jeff Lebo and that apparently carried a lot of weight. Best of luck to Andre.

Pro Weed Smoker maybe.

Hope he has a great year. Seems like a nice guy w/ a strong work ethic.

I've had the good fortune to get to know Andre and his parents - great people!!! Congratulations, and good luck at ECU.

Pro Weed Smokers don't get caught.

Hudson needs to think about a school in Colorado where his habit might not be such a big issue.
