Wake Baseball

So after this game we will be 2-7 on the road in the ACC, and the 2 wins were games we had huge leads in that we almost blew.

Can anybody make a compelling case for keeping Walter?
 
Wow. Really stupid to send the runner there. A meaningless run cut down at the plate with no outs. Stupid
 
So wait, we just had a runner thrown out at home plate with nobody out when down 3?

Who is the 3rd base coach? Walter.

Yes. The dude gave a kidney. That solidified a 15 year contract.
 
And it's not just that were bad as how poorly we are fundamentally. Each game in this series had huge mistakes.
 
Feel bad that we have "wasted" Will Craig's time at Wake. He is a stud
 
I watched a little of it on ESPNU last night. It was too painful to watch the whole thing. I see we're in last place in our division this morning.

From Keith Law's top 50 draft prospects list today:

37. Will Craig, 1B, Wake Forest
Craig is leading Division 1 in several offensive categories, albeit against some very weak competition, so despite questions about his defense, he has a solid chance to go in the first round, especially to teams that put a lot of stock in performance.
 
Yeah, he has risen tremendously on draft boards. His biggest problem is where he fits in positionally. Probably a DH if he were to make it to the Bigs.
