Who the fuck is David French?

Apparently Bill Kristol's definition of a "real chance " needs refinement.
 
What a huge fucking nothing burger from Kristol. No way this guy gets into the debates. That being said, Trump and Tea Party should direct all their rage at Kristol, not at French. He's an Iraq War vet and his wife was a ghostwriter for Sarah and Bristol Palin. Tea Party fraticide ultimately helps the GOP & America.
 
Kristol has always been a whack-a-doodle. That anyone has ever taken him seriously is stupifying.
 
Whole thing is a complete clusterfuck. Kristol originally championed Palin, so he's clueless. No chance to win any states, but might be able to peel off enough conservative votes to hurt Trump in AZ, IA, IN, or MO. Only reasonably rational angle is to save the Senate, but WI and IL are already off the table. If it even gets off the ground, will be interesting if they concentrate on shaky Senate states or presidential swing states.

The 'Pubs have one messed up coalition. French's wife and the Palins, Clarence Thomas' nutty Tea Party wife-wtf? Have no idea why Charlie Baker, Rob Portman, Mitch Daniels, Colin Powell, Bob Gates, and Huntsman are still hanging with the wingnuts. Weld and Johnson bailed at the right time.

French announced he's not running. Poor Kristol couldn't even convince a household name slam dunk winner like French to run.

I bet French Stewart is available to run for POTUS.

Kristol's wanted a guy who's to the right of Ted Cruz. Trump is a populist and all over the map. There are also establishment 'Pubs. Trump's part is now the largest, but there aren't three stand alone parties. Don't see how the parts fit together at all. Doubt that the populists stay if Trump loses.
