Champions League qualifiers are already underway, so it's about time to start a thread for this year.

The big news to this point is that Celtic (Brandon Lolodgers managing) managed to lose 1-0 away to some semi-professional team from Gibraltar called the Red Imps, which is astonishing. Daily Mail wins the headline war with "Celtic loses to butchers, bakers and candlestick makers".

Also - Spurs announced yesterday the full details of the home CL matches to be played at Wembley. Ticket packages for all 3 home group stage matches are as cheap as 70GBP, with 50% off for kids and anyone over 65. That should guarantee packed houses for all 3 matches, which will be awesome to see.

I looked over the broadcast - didn't see a Manchester United or Chelsea representative in the crowd. Maybe the camera just missed them.

That's a lot of shit talking considering Spurs haven't been in a Champions Leagues match in five years.

CSKA Moscow and Leverkusen in the same group. Whatever the opposite of Group of Death is, it's also taking shape.

Spurs can't get Groups C or D, but can get Real-Dort

Arsenal slip into Group A for Arsenal with PSG who don't have Zlatan.

We will win this group easily as soon as we sign Mustafi and James.

You know Arsenal is going to finish 2nd and somehow end up facing Barcelona in the round of 16. It's the way the world works.

I'll be interested to see the fixture list - when Spurs play in Moscow will really matter. Having the 2nd away date (in the winter) means playing in the cold, but it also means the Russian team won't be in season shape (it's the offseason for Russian clubs).

City and Barca? Did Pep ever face Barca while at Bayern?

Not sure if serious?

Lester make off easy too. They're so gonna win it and vad will combust into 35000 pieces

Please not Monaco in Group A. They gave us trouble last year.
