Wake Tennis 2017-2018

wake up 3-1.
court 6 in second set tiebreak with wake winning the first set
 
petros 6-0 in the third. won it in about 8 mintes. wake wins 4-1
 
Petros wins the 3rd 6-0, giving the Deacs the 4-1 win! Petros is fantastic in 3rd sets.
 
Deacs win 4-2. Not sure if they will finish that last match. Hard to see us dropping below 3rd ever in any national ranking.

Deacs clinched at 4-1, but they played out 4 and 6 singles. We lost a tiebreak at 4 and 6 is still going.
 
wakeup 5-1. mansouri was dropped from 2 to 3 just split first two sets
 
Wake won 5-2. Mansouri and Gojo flipped at 2/3 and Uspensky and Seraphim at 4/5. Mansouri and Uspensky lost.
 
Deacs are up to #1 in the country this week for the first time ever!

Awesome recognition for a team that has had many impressive accomplishments over the past 3 years.

The women moved up from 34 to 23.
 
Let's pump the brakes. The tennis championship is not for a few more months.
 
It doesn't look like Virginia has played a match since the indoor finals. I really hope we don't get paired against TCU anywhere in the National Tournament because they are going to be horribly underseeded
