2016 College Football Coaching Carousel

The fans at the unc game were saying that Fedora can't get out of town fast enough. Didn't say whether he is being pushed, pulled or is one step ahead of the (NCAA) posse.

Could see him taking the job Herman doesn't take... kinda funny both "hot" coaches shit the bed in their last game

If Fedora is a consolation prize for LSU or Texas, their fanbases will shit.

Agree but Texas is in a bad spot. They have to can Strong now (after today's capitulation), and if Herman goes to Lsu what are they going to do?

He's already said he isn't. I think Dabo has got to be a candidate for whichever of Texas and LSU who doesn't get Hermann. I could see Fedora getting looks for whatever next tier jobs open up, perhaps ND if Kelly gets axed.

No way. Dabo is just riding it out until Saban retires.

Godfather offers to Chip Kelly, Chris Peterson, and Petrino.

Strong back to Louisville? He could take the job for cheap and keep almost all of the buyout.

Hadn't really kept up with Baylor. There's a decent chance Claw with Wake will have more wins than Grobe will this season with Baylor.

He should hold out for something better

Why? He's 5-6 right now and apparently headed to Baylor. He'll be on the short list for every big job if he can win at Baylor.

Herman or bust

If they had won today UT would have probably kept Strong

But with today's capitulation...he gotta go

He will be on the short list for every big job if he wins at SMU. Baylor's recruiting class has two players unit. That program will be a disaster for the foreseeable future.

strong was gone no matter what yesterday's outcome was. the loss just made it easier.

I see this posted a lot but why would Alabama take Dabo?

Might have something to do with his 66-13 overall record since the start of the 2011 season. He has taken Clemson to 3 (going on 4) major bowl games. He's led Clemson to 3 top 10 finishes in the polls. Before Swinney, the last time Clemson finished in the top 10 was in 1988.

You may not like him due to his antics or his lack of x&o prowess, but he gets the job done. That is the only thing that matters.
