What a great addition to this team this year. Last night he played the most minutes (35), scored 20 points, had 4 rebounds, 6 assists, and only 2 t/o's and played hard defensively. He looked exhausted at one point but hit some big shots (3-4 on 3's, 5-6 ft's) and generally showed in his demeanor he is a leader out there. He had been in a little slump it seemed for a few games but came through in a big way last night. He is no doubt limited somewhat athletically but makes up for some of that with his effort and smart basketball sense.

Sometimes his shot doesn't fall, but he is the most consistent player on the team wrt effort and productivity outside of scoring.

I would like to see him be aggressive in looking for his shot, which he was last night. Sometimes it has seemed he is being too unselfish, maybe because it is his first season.

Best SG we've had since CJ Harris at least.

Woods and Crawford combined for 34 points, 9 rebounds, and 14 assists last night. That's pretty damn good.

Also, playing Chill as primarily a ball-handler when he is in the game has allowed Mitch to be a spot-up shooter, which he has been doing well. Seems like everybody knows their role and it's well-defined within the team. Kudos to Manning for that.

He's still young in his career too. I think when we see "transfer" and his beard (lol), we tend to think he's an older and experienced player. He's just a Sophomore and because of transferring, this season is kind of like "redo" of his freshman year. So, his game is going to just get better and that should be fun to see.

Glue to this team. Won the team "leadership" award after LAST season due to his hard work and dedication, apparently (that's what they told me on TV).

I am a big Woods fan. He plays under control and is fundamentally sound for a guy getting his first taste of ACC basketball.

But, I am also super-impressed with the athleticism of Crawford (but don't want to start a new thread). He makes me want to throw things at times, but when he plays smart he is exceptional...perhaps as athletic as any PG in the conference. He kept the wheels from coming off last evening.

Yeah he had a really quiet 14-5-8 last night that is going under the radar. He also didn't score until there was a minute left in the first half. Didn't push it at all and play out of control, just waited for the game to come to him.

Really enjoying watching him play. He has added a much needed element to this team. Maybe it's the beard, but he seems older than his years. That mid-air scoring adjustment he made on the lane drive belies some of these 'athletic' comments, IMO. I think he is turning into this team's full-fledged leader, which is something that has been missing.

I mean, he had a good game against a bottom tier ACC team. Not sure that is warrior status.

To me, besides Collins dominating inside, the biggest difference in the game was Crawfords 8 assist / 2 TO effort. If he can do that consistently, we will be in a LOT better shape down the stretch.

I also continue to like Chills development as a reliable PG, which as mentioned, lets MW play more off the ball, which is good since he is a ball stopper on O. MW's drives continue to be the worst thing (and the worst looking thing) we do on offense. Getting to the rim as a little guy is an innate skill, and he just doesnt have it.

One really troubling stat I also notices is ZERO (0) assists from MW and Chill in 45 mins of combined play. No bueno.

He is older. He turns 21 next week.

Keyshawn might be our best transfer since Anthony Tucker.

His ability to get to the basket is a huge plus. To be honest, I expected him to be a tremendous three point and mid range shooter, but I didn't realize how strong he was going to the bucket.

Our back court has been fun to watch, and while undersized against some teams, everyone can bring something to the table, while there is still some upside to be realized from a young group.

I'd also point out that I think Chill is already our best press-breaker if we just need a guy to take the lead there. And he'll only get better at that and creating more opportunities for others. The next 2.5 seasons will be fun - what a great group of guys.
