Only 2 teams in the ACC have more wins than us.

Wake also gets the worst three teams in the conference this year, all at home. Probably would have been a little better to trade one of those series with a road trip against a better team but it's fine.
 
So important in this league to win the games you should and then try to get a few on the road against teams like Louisville. Wake has been great in midweek games, hope it continues tonight. Anybody know if that " uh-huh" guy still goes to the Charlotte games? Go Deacs!
 
charlotte has been pretty solid so far this season. This will be a tough one
 
Should be a pretty good matchup. Neither team has a good starter going, so it should come down to who gets it done on offense. So far this year I'm not betting against Wake if it comes down to the bats coming alive.

Charlotte winning games on average 6.6 to 3.7 while Wake winning games 8.9 to 5.7. To the extent that RPI or any metric early in the baseball season is reliable, Charlotte has played the 44th hardest schedule so far and Wake has played the 29th hardest. Wake is 18th in RPI and Charlotte is 37th.

If the game gets played (which seems iffy due to weather), I'd expect it to be relatively high scoring. Thinking an 8-6 or a 9-7 type score?

Wake sending out a freshman righty with an 8.22 ERA against a lefty from Charlotte with a 9.82 ERA.

It is being shown on the actual channel tomorrow morning at 9 AM.
 
Looks like rain and lightning hit in the top of the 3rd. Appears that it will be continued tomorrow at 6 on the campus stadium at Charlotte.
