BSD Article: Wake Forest Student Section

maybe allow a handful of students to be on the court during the game, that might increase participation
 
I really like where this is going and am very supportive of adding more Satanic imagery to the Joel including but not limited to goats and pentagrams.

A massive statue of Baphomet behind the basket would solve a lot of problems with sight lines and empty seats.
 
Also instead of introducing the players we just have the deep voice announcer give a brief sermon about the court running red with the blood of the innocent. Then the Pantera kicks in.

We really need to fix the disgusting deacon mascot head. Other mascots don't seem to require 100 plainly visible air holes. Why does ours?

I'm not missing anyone's point. The point is Wake Forest has had a horrible 50 year basketball run compared to its neighbors. We need to change that for the next 50 years. The same old losing stadium with some lipstick on it will be another losing 50 years. That's the point.
 
Coach K hates the motorcycle now, just think of how pissed he'll be the first time the lights dim and a black-cloaked Demon Deacon walks out to center court leading a pregnant sow by a studded leather leash, fires up a dirty chainsaw, uses it to carve a squealing piglet from the mother's womb, then holds the piglet high into the air so the blood and placental fluid drip onto the center court WF logo as a pre-game offering to our Dark Lord.

Horrible 50 years? 50? And compared to what neighbors? Duke and UNC? By that standard basically every basketball program in the country has had a terrible run. Your position seems to be getting more and more extreme and has essentially jumped the shark. You have made some good points and would have a chance to get people behind you but you keep saying stupid things.

I want to beat UVA, NC State, UNC, and Duke. They've outkicked us over that last 50 years. No reason to think if we pursue perfection with the proper facilities, we can't beat them over the next 50.

I realize it's an "extreme" position among Wake fans that we should succeed. That's why it is apparent we are fine going along and getting along with a horrible civic oversized arena, just like we did in 1990 and in 1957 when we moved the campus. Both were failures. We should stop accepting a failed home facility.
 
The "extreme" position is that a building will make this happen.
