OFFICIAL 2017 WORLD SERIES L.A. DODGERS VS. ASTROS THREAD

Damn; Bombers have lost 6 straight. Need to finish the week strong before the All Star break.

The market for teams that need strong starting pitching over the next month is growing. Someone(s) is going to make prospect bank on some very average starters.

^^Should be interesting to see who sells. Pirates and Giants would be candidates to unload SP. The Rays would get a serious haul for Archer, but they're still contending at this point.

Five teams have to make the playoffs from the AL. I kinda think the Rays are the fifth best as things currently stand

The worst team in the AL is only 4.5 games back of the 2nd wild card spot.

Worst in NL? 21 games back.

Realize that it's early, but it appears that the only playoff spot up for grabs in the NL is the Central Division, and most expect the Cubs to eventually get their act together.

Looking like both Wild Cards will come out of the NL West.

The AL Wild Card and the AL East look to be tight the entire season.

Orioles have allowed 5+ in 18 straight games #torturedfanbase

Hard to bitch about unwritten rules of a perfect game when you immediately blow a 4-run lead after said unwritten rule was "broken".

Urias out 12-14 months with shoulder surgery. One of the best pitching prospects in recent memory and might never be the same.

Nats destroyed yesterday

We just sat in the shade after a while and watched on the TVs, it was p brutal in the sun

Bardot is cool tho

Miguel Montero whined to the media about Arrieta being too slow to the plate, thus why he hasn't thrown out a runner all season. He immediately then got called out by Rizzo and DFA'd. Hilarious.

Why can't there be a Bryce Harper or Ken Griffey, Jr. or even an ARod when the Phillies get the first pick?

The Astros' decimated starting rotation is average 4 IP per start in their last 10 games, yet they still went 7-3.

Can't wait for them shore up the starting pitching.
