Retired US Soccer / World Cup Thread (RIP)

Pulisic has come on in the 2nd half of this Dortmund game and had a real impact in helping them draw level. His cross fed the equalizer. Kid just looks completely unfazed that he's playing against Real Madrid.

On the other end of the spectrum, really bummed to hear Dempsey is out for the rest of the season and not an option for the Yanks anytime as well (one would assume).

Dempsey should retire if there are the slightest of health doubts. Absolutely no reason to risk his life for a year or two of football.

No talk of big Sam getting sacked after 67 days? Just when you thought English managing hit bottom...

Get well soon, Deuce!

I think our forward pool is still as in form as I've ever been. Jozy is in the best form of his career, same for Wood and Morris. Agudelo is creeping on the scene with Johannsson/Boyd healing as well

There's 4,000 Welshman here in Vienna right now (WC Qualifier against Austria). They are loud and all have hilarious accents. Lots of Bale shirts, but also lots of all kinds of random players. More Joe Allen shirts than you think would really be necessary, for example.

Vad getting a pretty entertaining match.

Chile very much trending toward missing the World Cup. That would be a shame as damn entertaining as they are
