The ACC To Open It's First Sports Bar/Cafe

Makes sense...hope you're right. Because that rendering is abysmal. You could show that picture to every person in North Carolina and ask them what the theme is supposed to be, and get zero people guess ACC sports.

i'm going to post that picture on the campus updates thread as the Poteat Pizza Lounge and see what people think.
 
This thread has not delivered. The potential for snark and comedy has gone totally unexploited. Disappoint.

Were I the designer:

1) The bathrooms would be stocked with toilet paper depicting the likeness of a different Dook assistant coach. [Hint: But Wellman isn't allowed to use any of it.]
2) The Hemlich instructions would be featured on a poster (slightly larger than DV7's) in Old Gold and Black font.
3) Notre Dame fans can't order from the entree portio of the menu.
4) The State portion of the menu would be overpriced, underseasoned, yet talk radio and the local paper would talk about how every year they've overhauled the menu. It will still be dreadful, and they'd fire the cook every year and blame the shareholders.
5) The College Park franchise closed after if defaulted on its construction loan.
6) The Florida State menu hasn't changed since 1995, but the quality continues to go down every year.
7) The Miami location just keeps getting robbed.
8) The Clemson franchise opened a catering business, but it doesn't seem to show well in BBQ competitions out of the area.
9) No one has ever been to the Boston College location. No one will ever go. No one can remember why we ever opened it.
 
you should email that list to everyone at work, they'd love it.

I was kinda proud of the shots at Wellman and dv7, to be honest.
 
do people commonly have layovers in RDU? if not, seems like they would've been better served by putting this in Charlotte where you have people who could linger for a few hours.

I didn't try to do what jhmd did because I couldn't come up with anything as funny as the Carolina Wine and Cheese plate line. Wish jhmd was as considerate.
