Pack Pride

That was a great game. One of the best crowds I ever remember at a Wake game.
 
I remember a former poster got selected to do the bubble thing at a basketball game and was ruthlessly booed because of how slow he was.
 
I think state was looking ahead to the potential national championship in Columbus.

This was so predictable. Some of us thought more of your team and less of our team than you guys did. Congrats. No seasoned Pack fan was surprised today. See ya next year in our stadium. Look at my earlier post, we didn't run the ball and we didn't tackle Camp.
 
my favorite part about pack pride is that they act that nc state football is some type of powerhouse program.

it isn't, they have always sucked and its quite obvious that they always will. BC, Clemson, FSU, Georgia Tech, Maryland, Miami, North Carolina, Pittsburgh, Syracuse, Virginia and Virginia Tech all have had more success in college football than State has.

One of my favorite moments as a Wake fan was Willie Idlette running that punt back for a touchdown to make it 28-3. I was yelling so loudly I almost blacked out.

Then, the next week we fucked up and lost to Purdue. Que sera.

I can confirm this is true among a few of the Pack fans I know. One dude on Friday was like, "I don't know, we never win in Winston-Salem. I think Wake has this." And I was like, "dude, Wake fucking suuuuuuuuucks. There's no way we win that game." Guess he was right.
 
Wake fans in general have a tendency to make teams better than they actually are. Like I said last week Wake is bad but State is too.

Yeah, I'm always amused. One comment on PP was something like "playing to down to the likes of Weak Florist" or some stupid shit. As sad as it may be, State needs to improve drastically for a decade before they can play down to Wake Forest.
 
This series wouldn't be essentially tied since the later 90s if State was that much better than Wake.
