There were a number of stories from Clemson after Barnes arrived talking about how hard he had to work to get fans involved with bball and excited about coming to games. driving golf carts around tailgates with bull horn etc.

I'm excited to potentially get a coach that won't back down against coaches like K. I'm thinking of you Barnes vs Smith.

I know Wake is traditionally a "basketball school" but with the investment in football I bet we end up more balanced. And that's a good thing. Remember Jim and Skip supporting each other's programs? It would be fucking awesome if next year we had Shaka and Claws rooting each other on.
 
Yeah its probably going to be a nerve wracking day leading up to close of business time . Still nothing "official" from Shaka's camp as of yesterday. There was also nothing from main media people yesterday but verified board chatter specifically talking about the BOT approving Ron to go all the fuck in with the money truck and vague but encouraging "good feelings" from other board people connected in varying degrees .

Shaka to Wake so let it be written let it be done . Shaka or Marshall I'll take either one.
