if Wake wants Manning, they get him to sign on the dotted line and have a presser tonight before he goes back tomorrow. Great weather for his visit is a plus.

If Wake does not land Manning, it will look awful for Wake and especially Wellman.

This does not seem like a good fit at all, especially after Ron trumpeted the GPA of our team.
 
O this board will be a world of fun confusion and anger if Manning walks because Wellman refuses to be "flexible" (tulsa referred to it charitably as academic reform) with academic standards.

If we flew him out here before we closed than I will be on the Wellman got to go team immediately. That is an unforgivable cluster.

I'll go from disappointed to amused pretty quickly. I've been a proponent for #scorchedearth for the past year and nothing screams scorched earth like landing the Miles Overton of your coaching search. I don't even know what kind of candidate falls below the Danny Manning level outside of the moderate step down that is Russell Turner.
