The World Cup starts on June 12th and involves 32 countries from around the globe. I will divide the 32 teams into 8 groups and you need to pick 1 country out of each quartet that you think will do the best.
RULES
TIEBREAKER: Predict the total amount of goals scored during the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
Quartets will be decided by the current FIFA rankings, i.e. top 4 ranked countries in one group, next four in another, so on and so forth...

No limit on the number of people that can play. Just PM me your picks or you can post them here in the thread. Picks are due by noon on June 12th.
RULES
- Each country will get 3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw, and 0 points for a loss.
- +1 bonus point if a country scores 3+ goals in one match
- +1 bonus point if a country wins a penalty shootout (counts as a draw, so a total of 2 points)
- +1 bonus point if a country wins a Round of 16 match
- +2 bonus points if a country wins a Quarterfinal match
- +4 bonus points if a country wins a Semifinal match
- +6 bonus points if a country wins the 2014 FIFA World Cup
