It is the same injury that plagued him for Man City the final few months of the season. He has clearly been at less than 100% (probably around 70%) this entire World Cup. Nowhere close to as explosive of a player that he usually is this WC.
 
Despite all the goals scored so far, that was the first direct kick goal of the World Cup.
 
if someone besides Messi an di Maria would step up, Argentina could win this whole thing

Bosnia's manager should be fired immediately for gross incompetence managing this squad.


They go through qualifying with a 4-4-2 then keep rolling with the 4-4-2 through internationals all last season. Then they try out the 4-5-1 in a friendly game, where they suck with it. So what does he do?

Goes 4-5-1 and losses their two opening WC games only to revert back to the 4-4-2 after they are eliminated and they are playing like gangbusters again.

Managers that try to out-think the room are just the worst.
