Suspensions and Dismissals - Sousa, Gibson, Preble

I can't say it's a huge loss. Preble was more interested in drinking beer and smoking last year than going to practice or the gym. I wish he had panned out, but right now this just looks like a couple more scholarships open.
 
Every FBS and FCS team has kids dismissed from the roster (this includes Army, Navy, Air Force and the Ivies) as there is no group of 85 18-22 year-old boys/men that are going to all stay on the straight and narrow for 4+ years. Sousa, Gibson and Preble had legit grounds to be hyped coming of HS. All of them pissed away their chance to contribute and earn a degree. Now Clawson will have 3 ships open earlier than expected. Thus, this is a net positive.
 
I've been to the on-campus Subway - It's not worth breaking your neck to get there.
 
Interesting that the names of these three are still listed on the official roster posted on line. Neil Basford is not.

Does that mean these three might eventually earn their way back onto the team if...????

Yeah, but Basford appears on the depth chart and those others do not, so there you go.
 
Basford quit the team after the last game.
 
I know that their is some attrition after a coaching change, but this is something Barry Alverez would be proud of.
 
i think we need to give Kevin a little credit for trying to eat healthy instead of going to cookout or something
 
Grobe and co. sure seemed to recruit more than a few knot heads lately. And untalented knot heads at that.
 
A true freshman on second team- a stud( Pike) caught 4 passes . I'd quit too if I was third team behind the two studs ahead of me.
 
Didn't he suffer a serious back injury that put him in the hospital for a few days? His rethinking his commitment to college football makes a little bit of sense
