after a long period of no action, lots of goings on the last few hours
 
BIF returns and inundates the recruiting/Giles thread with GIFs. Shortly thereafter, the vibes die. Coincidence?

Not sure---we got the information yesterday, but all indications point to the fact that he had already made up his mind before then. Before the game, before the injury.

No clue at all if the injury changes his thinking.

I wonder if he'll push his announcement back now. Seems that figuring out logistics in regards to his surgery/rehab should take priority over him setting up a press conference on ESPN.

Also, I wonder if he will transfer to a HS back in Winston to finish his senior year and graduate. Can't think of a worse place to rehab than Mouth of Wilson, VA. Just a horrible break for a great kid. Here's to a full recovery and a long and successful basketball career for HG.
 
Maybe the doctors let doofus break the news to HG about his knee?

I never believed in the 5* group theory. It's not that they soured on us because of Harry, it's that we spent a lot of our capital on recruiting Harry and not enough on others. We swung for the fences. Does that not make sense?
 
That blows. Old here. I tore the ACL in my other knee a few years after the first one and long term, it was for the better. I got both ACLs repaired, my original ACLs probably sucked, and I got a solid 20 year run out of both knees post surgery. Played team sports in cleats or sneakers into my 40s. I even have the a photo somewhere to prove it (cue IrishSlim - he got it somewhere fo sho).

So prayers to you, big fella. You'll be fine.
 
Apparently Goodman tweeted that Giles will announce tomorrow, but then immediately deleted the tweet.

@GoodmanESPN: Harry Giles, who suffered a partially torn ACL in his right knee, told @PaulBiancardi that he will be announcing college decision tomorrow.

WTF iS GOING ON??
