General Election Thread: Two Weeks Out

I don't know why the look at these rallies thing is always posted for Trump and by Trump. He is a celebrity, people go and see him. For example the average viewership for the apprentice over its run was 15 million people. Since he became the republican nominee it's been 76 days, if have that same viewership to see trump at a rally he needs to have rallies with 197,368 people a day.

Probably because Hillary has like 300 people show up and Trump gets like 20,000 and another 10,000 have to be turned away. There's little to no enthusiasm for Clinton.

So who is the silent majority then? The loud vocal rallies and online skewers of polls or the people that just are continuing about their lives and voting for Hillary when the time comes, according to polls it would be the second option.

I personally know one person in my entire friend group from Wake who is voting for Trump. #anecdotal obviously, but I hope most Wake grads are rejecting Trump with vigor.

We'll see in a few weeks, when Trump consistently does 3-4% better than the polling would indicate. There's no reason someone would lie to pollsters about supporting Hillary- she's the MSM anointed one. Trump is the one we're told to be ashamed of.

Ralph Nader had 17,000 people attend a rally at Madison Square Garden in the fall of 2000 and ended up with ~3% of the popular vote. #Justsayin'

Does this mean you've taken me off ignore and are once again reading my posts? Holla!

I find elites like her being above the law and going unpunished for their crimes far more disturbing. YMMV

What about due process? Hasn't she been investigated and either clear of any charges or not prosecuted at all, and now these people want to throw her in jail anyway?...ahhh forget it.

Those are your fellow Americans douchebag. And patriotic ones at that. Show some respect and quit with the name calling.

oh sorry:

What's amazing about a bunch of my fellow Americans who are uninformed idiots chanting? I'm not following the amazing part.

I don't think it's analogous to what we're seeing with Trump and Hillary but okay.

You pay all that tuition and don't learn a damn thing !

The point is that rally attendance figures are basically anecdotal evidence of support, especially when compared to polling results. I do think that the enthusiasm issue is a worry for Clinton, but I don't think that rally attendance figures are good evidence of that. Hillary supporters are smartly too busy knocking on doors to get out the vote and drum up enthusiasm to be going to Rallies.

Interesting article by The Atlantic on Trump and his "abdication of personal responsibility".

I'm sure that BKF will dismiss the article out-of-hand, but interesting to see those words used based o the regularity that the term is used on here by a lot of those planning to vote for Trump.

For me, this election has always been about Hillary Clinton. You could replace Trump with a random name out of the phone book and I would vote for him.

Do you think the process was fair and above board with Clinton? Five people given immunity, including her lawyer/personal assistant Cheryl Mills, who also got to sit in on Clinton's interview with the FBI. Why don't you take the time to look at those immunity agreements if you think the process was legit. Similarly, look into Comey's past- his examination/exoneration of Bill Clinton over the Marc Rich pardon. And then there's stuff like this:

The process was rigged from the start. The hearings have made that made obvious.

This is an interesting game we could play.

Barack Obama
Charlie Sheen
Bill Gates
Roy Cooper

All of those?
