Gettleman wouldn't do that because it would be like waving a sign that said "hey guess what guys - I fucked this offseason up royally!"

AS opposed to picking up a cornerback off the street to replace a starter ? Trade actually looks better.

Yeah but picking dudes up off the street or playing unready rookies fits the philosophy that all that matters is pressure up front and I can stick any cheap body back in the secondary and we'll still be good. Trading for a higher priced CB when he could have just franchised Josh would be clear admission of being wrong.

Expect he did exactly that when his free agent signings missed in 2014. Helped us get to playoffs

$19 million in cap space just sitting there while scrubs play LT and get Cam killed.

We gave them a 4th for a punter. What would we need to give them for a 31 year old LT?
