Chat Thread lame titles. Owning it.

In more Chupe high school classmate news, a guy who graduated the year before me (class sizes in the 30s/40s so we all knew each other) was just named president of NBC News. Damn. So few degrees away from fame and power. Might have to make it back to homecoming this year, work some connections.
 
Checked out Stone Mountain today. I wonder what was going on in 1964 that motivated GA to finish up that carving.
 
seems like the title should be lame title. singular. just sayin

morning CT! traffic was noticeably less today, then I remembered it's Presidents' Day. No holiday here, but I'm taking Friday off work to go visit my sister, so still a short week.
 
car in shop today, about $600 worth of repairs but better than a car payment. not a short week but get to go to RALEIGH for a meeting on Friday so that's exciting.
 
I've made it 21 days without biting my nails. 3 weeks is what it takes to break a habit, right?
 
I'm the only one of five in my work area this week. We have motion sensor lights but the sensor isn't pointed towards my desk so they go out after about 10 minutes. This is fun. At least I'm only here through Wednesday this week.

Only working tues this week and that's just cause got something fun going on. I think it's some mexican holiday on Friday or something too
 
We're going to Shreveport to visit sister and bro in law for Mardi Gras. And a couple of our best friends are flying in from Seattle as well -- we haven't seen them since they moved there from DC a week before we left. Should be a great time in a city that according to my sister is not as bad as it seems...
 
My buddy just decided he wants his bachelor party in Charleston instead of Florida. Can't say I'll argue.
 
Saw "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" at the $2.50 theater last night. Fun movie. Eddie Redmayne is such a cutie.
