Did wfu just lose a basketball game to unc Charlotte? Please tell me my wfu game day app is malfunctioning. Or tell me Danny Manning had been fired either one is fine.
 
Manning isnt held accountable and he takes this same approach to his team. Brandon Childress won't be held accountable and he will keep playing hero/goat ball.

Having a good loss like this so early in the season just might be the wake up call the team needs to pull it together and have a great season. Time for Wake to start a new winning streak!
 
Manning said we would take a big step this season, what he didn't say is that we would take this big step right into a pile of shit!
 
Having Sharone and Mossoud taking 3's in the last minute is prob not what coach Wooden would have drawn up, despite Mossoud actually making his 3.

I wish I had the time and the energy to catalog the avalanche of coaching errors in what I just watched.

Suffice it to say, we are one of the most poorly coached teams I have ever seen. In every facet of the game. A decent high school team doesn’t make the errors that Wake does on a consistent basis. That we are being subjected to another season of this is completely and totally inexcusable.
 
Post game conference is very encouraging. Manning takes full responsibility and says the team is playing great. Wake has shot takers and shot makers. The team just "needs more paint touches and to get to the free throw line." - Danny Manning
 
After we get drilled at home by state dec 7, there is basically a month with only one game.

Fire DM then, and make a statement going into next year. Walters interim.

Does Manning not realize that our guy who will get the majority of paint touches has terrible hands, is a poor passer, and has low b-ball iq?
 
Very close game. We get better as the season progresses, and we’ll be on the right side of the win column next time.
