So I guess today’s match doesn’t matter anymore. Sucks.
So assume everyone caves, who gets the invites to expand to say 24. Bayern, Dortmund, PSG obviously. Then 9 more...
Sevilla
Valencia
Lyon
Monaco
Roma
Schalke
Leipzig
Ajax
Everton
?
Edited to add: that already feels more watered down than what I imagine they’re aiming for

Atletico is in.
Gotta go with Monaco -- they'd have 100% of a whole country's fanbase!
Article suggesting Chelsea and City don't need the money from the new league because they have no debt, but believed if they did not join they'd be left behind and so they caved. This suggests Man City's only statement so far included a quote from ManU's owner. Only thing I've seen Glazer say is something along the lines of bringing the best to play every week will somehow result in more money for the broader football pyramid, which doesn't make any sense.
Would be interesting if Chelsea, City or some other clubs changed their minds and backed out. Tottenham, ManU, Barca, Juve and Real are the clubs in the 12 with the largest debt to revenue ratios.

UEFA may expel the 12 teams from present Euro competitions as soon as Friday. So ManU, Arsenal, Chelsea and City all get booted.
Also the EPL has a rule that teams can only play in defined list of already sanctioned competitions. So signing up for the ESL violates the EPL's rules. And the EPL is meeting this week without the six breakaway teams. They might get expelled from the EPL.
