Silly shit. I saw on Twitter if Xavier doesn’t beat GTown they are out. They have lost 7 of 8 and are 7-11 in conference. They going to put San Francisco in over Wake. GTFO… Wake is in. Miami is in. ND is in. NC will play in Dayton and VT has a shot to sneak in if they make semis next week.

The reason is pretty simple. They finished top 4 and we didn’t. Standings matter. If we don’t lose to Clemson, we’d have a shot at finishing 2nd.

Mucius. Only regular player with four years at Wake. Hope we get to see a fifth year from him, Walton and Williamson.
 
Losing to Pitt or BC would be a terrible loss. I still think we have done enough already but we need a blowout win to start next week in opener in Brooklyn next week. For sure we are in then.

And we beat two of those three teams in our only games against them. We're not missing the tourney. And we're not losing our first game either.

so true and could not have happened without Forbes being there for him. All these players know their roles and are so unselfish. Big time team players. All about the coach.

Yep. There was a lot of yammering about him being abused defensively. I say we have enough size to cover for him at the rim. If they want to shoot over him, let 'em.

Offensively, this team runs so much better with him at the point. It just looks like everyone goes to where they should be. Symmetry.

Also, really glad to see Sy back. I feel better with him available for the ACC.

Walton, Williamson and Mucius are great post-game interviews. So glad Forbes has found ways to connect guys who had to deal with the horror of the RW/DM era with new additions.

The maturity and poise of these guys is impressive. Especially compared to years of watching young teams that had 0 leadership on the sideline.
 
Only one scholarship player didn’t get into game…: Carter Whitt. Well, that is interesting.
 
Man, I love this interview with Mucius. He’s very good on the mic. I remember he did an interview with the BSD podcast before he enrolled and it was great. Dude’s got a future in broadcasting if he wants it.
