CA is a state that produces lots of very good QBs. He seems like a good find.

Granted. I certainly don't view him as a savior and he might not even be the starter--I have always thought Kern was a good pure passer and he might be the guy. But I think it's worth taking a chance on Bachmeier.

Also, sorry to say this, but Wake taking him from the portal says more about Wake football than it does about Bachmeier.

I can't imagine why Kern would come back if he didn't think he would be the starter next season. Nor can I imagine why Bachmeier would transfer her if he didn't think he would be the starter. It will be interesting to see how it all plays out.

Great questions. Those answers are ones only the football staff would know. RTQ isn't involved in the actual makeup of the roster. It offers NIL deals to student-athletes at Wake Forest.
