when was the last time you were here? because they've finished building out an extensive greenway system that displaced any homeless camps I knew about and I can't think of any currently visible or near the usual spots (NB, wedge, hiwire rad, plebe, foundy wedge, etc)

ha, been seeing lots of buzz about her upcoming concert in AVL next month (they decided to move it from orange peel to rabbit rabbit, a much bigger outdoors venue)

~2 years. Specifically was remembering an area near Zillacoah (which is a great brewery).

ha, I love zillicoah but haven't gone a ton the last couple years, they used to have a ban on children, and lifted it finally (like 7-8 months ago?) but that coincided with them breaking ties with my favorite mexican food truck that used to be parked there full-time

i don't really remember the homeless encampments up that far north, but might have just not been paying attention tbh

Feel bad for biff though, what with breweries around here making policies to attract the folks who will most likely actually go to their place and allowing crotch goblins. Won’t someone ever give white men biff’s age a break?

Pretty sure the only brewery I’ve taken my kids to in several years was old meck with their outdoor play area. Personally I don’t think itd be fun for me or my kids to go into a tiny indoor brewery that didn’t have a dedicated kid area. That goes for dogs too, what’s fun about bringing your dog to basically sit on the floor of a restaurant.
 
My Winston friend group is a mix of people with kids and without so breweries (with enough space) tend to be the default meet-up place for catching up and having a few drinks. Not really sure what we'd do w/out them.

Both Incendiarys are good, Joymongers and Radar tend to not be as crowded and have cavernous indoor areas that handle kids alright.
