We went to an arcade in a ski town in Oregon where we visited a couple months ago which had (in addition to regular games my kids stank at) bubble hockey, foosball’s cousin. Love that game.

Goddamn. That would have been nice for the last ceiling fan I installed like 10 or 12 years ago. Wrestling that thing at the top of a ladder with one trembling arm and fumbling wire connections with the other. Basically swore me off replacing ceiling fans.

Did the airbags deploy? When I hit a deer at 45+ I had less exterior damage than that but every airbag deployed which nearly totaled the car with the cost to repair those. And to this day the damn interior panels don’t fit the same way and annoyingly rattle sometimes

never had issues with my 16 forester (other than hitting a deer) and it has survived even despite my home car maintenance. I wish it had LED headlights and other more modern car conveniences but it’s long paid off and due to the deer is pretty much unsaleable, so I imagine I’ll have it until...

I’ve made pie crusts before. It’s possible they really sucked and I missed a transcendent crust experience but I think it’s more likely that I really don’t care about the crust.

I’d care to spend time and effort making pie crusts if I actually liked pie crusts. But to me they’re just the vessel for the filling and even when I do get to have a self made one it doesn’t really move the enjoyment needle.
