Is it unrealistic to think Hartle and/or Massey return next season? Unless they figure things out quick would their draft slot pay more than NIL and the potential to get things figured out/get healthy/ get a degree? I know seniors have less leverage but is this idea completely crazy?

Those are the games that Kurtz was on an incredible heater. While I don’t disagree with your analysis the qualifying for the ACC tourney is a bit off.

Hard to tell if last year was an outlier or not for Hartle. I’m sure it helped that he pitched on Sundays for an elite team that scored lots of runs in a non draft year. At the same time he beat LSU in a high pressure situation last year. I don’t know if it’s the lab, velocity, mechanics, in...

Agreed. Not Walter’s fault we have essentially one starting pitcher but the starters have been bad essentially since conference play started and you would think our team would be more aware of how important 90 feet is this season and wouldn’t be so gracious with giving up free bases.

Truth. The homers hurt but we essentially gave them 2 runs on a balk and other clown show antics in the first 2 innings. Nothing changes. Lucky to win one game in this series.

Team is a bunch of losers and so am I for following them this closely.

Our offensive approach this weekend has been crappy to say the least.

I don’t think Walter or Moose know what to do right now. We essentially have one starting pitcher and a lineup that can’t get hot at the same time. Throw in the lack of playing clean baseball and you have a season slipping away and no answers.

Missed opportunity there. King is very talented but not very patient at the plate.
