Wake Golf 2024 - Women’s NCAA Regionals May 6-8; Men's NCAA Regionals May 13-15

Obviously a tough battle today against UNC, but we're hanging in there to start. First match looks like a dud for us (down 4 through 8), but the other four are:

Brennan is the 1Dn, so we can possibly flip that as well. Let's pull an upset!

FSU vs. Tech in the other semis is a heavyweight bout. So much talent in the ACC.

Co champion and winning the womens by darkness are both lame as fuck. But wins a win.

Women were going win going away anyways. They are a machine.
 
Deacs hanging in there and we're tied at 2-2-1 about midway through.

UNC has already won 7&6 in the first match, so they do actually have a point on the board.

Kennon is 3UP thru 13 over Fountain (huge win here if he holds on)
Meisel 1UP thru 11 on Greaser
Brennan tied with Ford thru 9
Haberer 1DN thru 8 with other Ford

The longer we hang the tighter UNC should get - let's get Kennon on the board and steal 2 more!

Unless something crazy happens Haberer has to come back from 1 down to win. Just made a clutch putt for a halve on 13, but his chipping is putting a lot of pressure on his putting.
 
Realize Greaser is a top-rated player, but WF's Marshal Meisel was up 1 through 11, and then lost the next 5 holes... Yikes.
 
Jerry making himself useful by pulling the pin in the Brennan match.

Eh, slightly less clutch off the tee at 18 for both players...
 
Not an auto two-putt for Ford at all from behind the hole. Haberer can be pretty aggressive on this chip.
