BC has a reasonably good offense considering their 135th ranking in KenPom. It's #2 in the conference in conference games (#samplesize) at 114.5, and 105.1 on the year.
I do think the defense of N.C. State and VPI had a lot to do with that though. They scored 86 points in 72 possessions against VPI (1.19) and 73 points in 67 (1.08) possessions against N.C. State.
VPI is just a one-man team at this point with Green and 6 total scholarship players. It was a good road win for BC (first in over a year), but I wouldn't take a ton away from it in terms of projecting their play today.
If we can shut down Ryan Anderson then we will be in good shape. They do shoot a lot of threes which would normally concern me, but we have been superb taking the three-point shot out of our last two home games.
If Clifford isn't playing much, I might give the ball to Devin in the post a bunch of times in the first eight minutes trying to get Anderson some fouls. If he doesn't cover Devin, our guy can take it to the rack and dunk. At the very least beat Anderson up a little.
