"But analysts and industry critics say that if anything ever causes distributors to try more of an “à la carte” model of pricing, it’s sports programming."

Interesting article especially in light of the move made by Maryland.
 
Dodgers games are lucky to draw 100,000 viewers yet they want to charge all of their customers another $60 per year because of them? That's nuts.
