Hey guys,

We had a chance to interview offensive coordinator Steed Lobotzke prior to last season, and he told us that it would be a new-look offense due to the lack of experience. With more veteran players returning this fall, however, expect to see Wake get back to the basics on offense.

Not to hijack, but my rage at Lobo inspired this thought.

Lobo, Bzz, Wellman: Fuck, marry, kill.

Go.

Returning just four starters from 2011’s unit, Wake Forest averaged a measly 18.5 points per game last fall.

To say that Wake Forest’s offense struggled in 2013 would be an enormous understatement.

This guy is a goddamn prophet.

Shouldn't an offense for an inexperienced unit be "back to the basics" and then expanded on that for a veteran unit?

The lack of offensive continuity doesn't capitalize on experience. Seniors learning a new offense and executing it for the first time may as well not be seniors.

I took him to be saying that they had to be creative to make up for youthful inexperience and that now we have more experience we are going to be more conservative and rely on our athleticism. This should be fun...

Logic fails lodumbo.

Our new offensive plan is to punt earlier and oftener!

That's almost worse.

"Because the Demon Deacons never have been, and likely never will be, a dominant recruiting power, head coach Jim Grobe has brilliantly implemented a system which utilizes deception to make up for the lack of overall athleticism."

Brilliantly?

No one ever expects the punt from your opponent's 35 yard line!

Fumble, fumble, fumble, fumble!
