So, if I read that correctly, they could continue the franchise without using NCAA branding, and still license directly with teams, correct?
Are conferences included in NCAA branding?
Sounds like they could do that a la PES and license individual teams. But not sure if the profits would outweigh the cost if they had to ink 25-30 schools all separately. So, if I read that correctly, they could continue the franchise without using NCAA branding, and still license directly with teams, correct?

It's amazing how far the NCAA will go to avoid paying their employees.

They get plenty for their efforts, if they are unsatisfied they can not play at the college level and find a semi pro team to play for. I am sure the fans will follow them if they leave.
Tuition and fees at WFU will top 60k this year. Not bad compensation for 18-22 year olds.
