Chris Webber joining Wake faculty

Hopefully he was part of the recruiting pitch to Giles :).
 
I'd definitely pay to see some pickup games involving Danny Manning, Chris Webber, Chill and Steve Woodberry (and any other folks that stopped in to say hello, such as CP3 or Josh Howard).

Webber will be a professor of practice in the program that is part of the university's documentary film program. He will teach a class on sports, race and society

IIRC, Weber was the only member of the Fab 5 that refused to participate in the 30 for 30 on the Fab 5, and now he is a teacher in a program specializing in documentaries?

Weber is an interesting and complex guy. #1 HS Recruit in his class. #1 pick in the NBA draft. One of the best big men passers and ball handlers in his generation of players, but his teams often found ways to lose in a heart-breaking fashion. Always funny to me that some people classified him as a "loser" in college when he took two teams to the Final game as the best player on very young teams against loaded Duke and UNC teams. Does a loser get to two final fours and then advance to NCAA final games? Is Brad Stevens a loser?
