Wasn't he good from day one at Wake? Aka didn't redshirt and was a four year starter? thus trumping the OL takes three years to develop idea (that I agree with).

Yes, Looney started as a true freshman under Grobe. Even though there weren't many, a very high % of players that didn't redshirt under Grobe played in the NFL (Barclay, DeGeare, Plack).

Looney was the last real stud O-lineman we've had.
