Chase Fischer with 20 pts. (3-7 on treys) as BYU beats Utah Valley, 85-54 on Friday.

Tyler Cavanagh with 15 pts. and 17 boards as George Washington defeats Lafayette, 85-76 on Friday.

Bill Moto's 28 pts. and 9 rebounds aren't enough as Towson loses by 2, 78-76, to La Salle on Saturday.

Aron Rountree gets 4 points and 4 rebounds in 19 minutes as Iona loses by 25 to Valparaiso, 83-58, on Sunday.

UVa @GW tonight at 7:30 on ESPN2. Should be a good test for Tyler to prove himself.

Definitely wouldn't get minutes over O'brien.

Shelton Mitchell who committed to WF, enrolled at Vandy; has now transferred to Clemson, and he is sitting out this season.

Another former WF committee, Isaac Haas is Purdue's leading scorer through 2 games averaging 14 ppg. He also averages 6 rpg.

Moto and Cavenaugh were only players who were worth a crap at WFU. Cav couldn't even dunk and never hit a high percentage of three pointers. Moto was tough but was undersized at the 4 position and couldn't play the 3. Fischer couldn't guard anyone or get his shot off. All made good moves to transfer and it's great that it's working out for them.

Amazing what coaching can do.

A player getting bigger isn't usually coaching. Most kids from 18-20 go through a pretty big transformation. Obviously strength and conditioning is a huge deal there, but he was likely to bulk up over the past two years regardless of where he played.

Was referring to the "a lot better".

Cav and Moto were both perfect transfer candidates. Cav needed a year in the gym to get stronger, Moto needed a year to work on skill development.

Cav should have done a year of Acutane while nobody was watching.
