Biggest indictment against Wolford as our QB today, he's had pretty good protection and still turning it over and not making enough plays. Hinton for 2016!
 
Would likely not start for a number of IM teams. He locks in a single receiver and still can't ascertain if the receiver is open.
 
He's had the excuse of being under so much pressure most of the time, not today though. No excuses now.
 
Cheer up. This is the last game Wolford ever starts. Barring injuries.

Honestly this was probably wolford's best game at wake. That's about all you need to say.
 
Was Hinton injured? Did he play? Appears he did not. Didn't get to see today's game.
 
Simply put he is not good enough for this level of football. Somewhere like Elon he might be a star but too small and not savy enough to make good decisions under pressure. All three turnovers today were on him. We have to have a better QB next year. Sick and tired of giving away games.
 
His fumble/interception happened right in front of me today. Just terrible. Not even a freshman mistake.
 
Exactly. This was the final game of his sophomore year and he was still making plenty of freshman year mistakes. He is talented, but is not good enough to compete at this level. Unfortunately he will not be able to overcome being undersized, which is something many people have done at Wake. Hopefully (for the team's sake), that was his last game as a starter. Have a lot of respect for him and seems like a great leader and kid, but he just can't cut it.
 
Here's another thing. We have a very legit group of receivers next year. Lewis (who has a chance to be special), Wade, Hines, Harris, Claude, and then Cam who is a stud at tight end. Rocky and Colburn at rb. Our offense will be skilled and athletic. We need a qb who can get these guys the ball and not be the weak spot. It's not Wolford.

Don't forget about Tyler Bell, I think he's improved as the season has gone on, probably had his best game today. Also, I hear good things about true freshman receiver Scotty Washington as well.
