Just looked at this and it is historically bad. If we don't go to a bowl next year, something is wrong. Two of the worst if not the worst 1-A teams in the country and really bad FCS team and Indiana. Also interesting with Duke and NC State as road games, we only leave the state 3 times next year.

Delaware -- 4-8 Ended year with 14-10 win over Elon
Army -- 2-9 with probable loss to Navy. Beat Bucknell (4-7 FCS) and Eastern Michigan (1-11 with win over 2-10 Wyoming)
Tulane -- Finished last in the AAC. Beat Army 2-10, UCF (0-12) and Maine (4-7)
@Indiana -- 6-6 (Lose QB and Senior laden class)

ACC home games -- BC, Syracuse, Clemson, UVA
ACC road games -- FSU, Louisville, NC State, Duke

Seven home games and that schedule should put us in a decent bowl. If not, questions will need to be asked about this coaching regime.

It's a favorable schedule and I agree, no bowl next year will be a big disappointment and would put Clawson on a very hot seat or it should. With Wellman you never know though.

No way he's on hot seat unless we go 3-9, 4-7. Remember the 8 years of Caldwell? I do, and Clawson ain't no Caldwell. He just needs another recruiting class or two and we will be back to competitive in the ACC. It took Cutcliffe 5 years to win at Dook.

Wake isn't going to fire a football coach after three seasons especially given the shape the program was in when he got here.

We'll find away to go 5-7 and you losers will congratulate Wolford for putting it together

It looks like I won't be buying season tickets with that schedule.

Y'all are expecting Clawson to win at least 2 ACC games, which is a pretty dramatic improvement.

Reasonable to think that WF could win two of the 3 home games against BC, Cuse and UVA and possibly all 3. WF could steal another ACC win as well. That said, WF could also lose at Indiana (or only win one ACC game). As of today, I would put the O/U win total at 5 or 5.5 against that schedule (Given the expected returning players, WF would be a significant favorite over Delaware, Tulane and Army; a slight favorite over Cuse; close to a pick against BC and UVA; slight dog to Indiana; 7-10 point dog at Duke; double digit dog against the other 4). For the sake of the program, WF really needs to get to 6 wins or more next year.

Looking at Clawson's past, there is usually pretty substantial improvement in years 3 and 4. With this schedule, a bowl game should be the expectation.

looks like a duke schedule

And those three are very drivable from the Piedmont or mountains.

And we could beat UL, NCSU, and Duke on the road.
