Maryland: Rats leaving the ship

Someone on the MD board just said it looks like sophomore tackle Max Garcia is gone. Haven't seen it mentioned anywhere else though so who knows.
Nevermind. He had tweeted, "All good things come to an end". So someone named FakeCoachEdsalle (Ha!) tweeted him and asked if he was transferring and he said, "naw man not at all"
So I doubt he's going anywhere

I was reading about the public forum held yesterday with the Maryland AD and he was trying his best to defend Edsall.

Kevin Anderson on Edsall: "I have a football coach who hasn’t become a darling of the media. We’re working on that."

How does this fit with intraconference transfer rules?
 
The funny thing is that RJ Dill was down to two schools during recruitment- Maryland and UConn
 
Have to lol at Maryland after hating on Deb so much and then their new AD goes out and makes this hire. Not to mention this hire for big money despite Deb ruining the finances

Maryland football is so screwed right now. Edsall has 5 years at $2M a year left on his contract guaranteed and they already are out of money and had to cut athletic programs so no way they can afford to fire him. On top of that, their attendance is going to suck because they will be fielding a shitty team so that's even less money coming in. Players are leaving and their recruiting is bad so the team is only gonna get worse in the next couple years. It's gonna take a new coach 3-4 years to fix that program.

Aren't they still paying Friedgen? I would imagine there was some cost associated with that.
