Yep. Granted, it ballooned at the end when we started fouling on purpose, but the actual discrepency was something like 28-13 before we started fouling.


The fact that they spent the final 10 minutes of the game in the double bonus is horrible. We would make a great play on the offensive end, and then they'd make 2 free throws on their end after a reach in call. Horrible.
 
And it wasn't like we weren't taking it to the rim or anything. Cj couldn't buy a foul.

Whatever, no excuses. The bad stretch in the first half did us in. Don't have enough depth yet to overcome that and the foul trouble

Maryland is top 10 in the country on getting to the line, but typically I wouldn't think they have all three refs on their knees for them either.

Not really actually. In the final minute, Maryland attempted 6 FTs to our 5. So in the first 39 minutes, the FT disparity was 31 to 8.
 
The whole game is giving 20 offensive rebounds to Maryland. That's the whole game.
 
In Obama's America teams must shoot the same amount of FTs.

Back on topic: we went to the line 13 times to VT's 6. Granted 37-13 is a much greater disparity but sometimes you get the bear and sometimes...
