Sarah Burke Dead: Skier Dies After Accident During Training At Park City, Utah

Looks like she had a bad accident on Jan 10 and died today.

She was Canadian. But yes, very sad, she was the best woman's free skier of all time and one of the main people responsible for getting the sport into the 2014 Winter Olympics. Prayers to her husband, family, and friends.

Tough Year for skiing losing her and Jamie Pierre both in Utah this winter.

Very sad. That said, there's a reason why only a handful of people in the world compete in extreme sports and the rest of us say they're nuts. Shit like this happens. "Risking their life" has become such a cliche, but if enough people do it then someone actually is going to die, and that's what we've seen now.
