Yeah but if if they really have such an agreement (of which i'm skeptical) I think it's pretty admirable.
The response to this would be different if it was somebody like Clemson or UNC stealing guys who had given their verbal to play for Wake.
As I said, we stole one of GT's recruits last year and they stole one of ours. Obviously people were frustrated that we lost one, but most seemed to understand that it was part of the process.
I guess, but in my mind, you're not subject to an agreement unless you actually agree to it. Tressel may have agreed. Urban clearly didn't. Not sure how you could hold that against him.
Two SEC schools, Florida and Auburn, both said the scholarships signed for this years class would be honored for 4 years (with the caveat of a minimum GPA and no legal troubles. Hopefully this will start a new trend in college football.
