I'm kind of curious to see what peoepl will do with Tiger in the board Masters' Tourney.

Please pick one.

This is a tough one...I think he's still an elite player in any Masters pool with perhaps only McIlroy and Mickelson being ranked higher than he is. Even during his disastrous last 2 seasons he still managed to finish T4 in the Masters both years. He and Mickelson are two players who can come in rusty, playing like dogs, and still have enough local knowledge and good Karma at Augusta to contend.

One more thing to chew on - Tiger's lowest finish in the Masters in the last 7 years is a T6 in 2009.

Tiger is a top 5 pick this year. It's a no brainer. He could have shot 90 today and it wouldn't change my mind. Let us not forget he was playing with Romo. That doomed him.

Good point about Romo.

Wouldn't pick Tiger of my boi PHIL but he's still going to play Augusta like it's his home course and he'll score well. I'm a huge Phil guy but I really think Tiger is going to have a great year.

Romo's fourth quarter choking is obviously contagious.

I can't see Tiger being under 40-1. That would make it hard not to include him in a six man team.

Here are the Masters Odds from about 10 days ago. I haven't seen an updated list yet:

Tiger Woods . . . 9/2
Rory McIlroy . . . 8/1
Phil Mickelson . . . 15/1
Lee Westwood . . . 20/1
Luke Donald . . . 20/1
Adam Scott . . . 25/1
Jason Day . . . 30/1
Dustin Johnson . . . 30/1
Nick Watney . . . 40/1
Rickie Fowler . . . 40/1
Martin Kaymer . . . 40/1
Charl Schwartzel . . . 40/1

Fowler being on this list is LOL funny.

I'd put Rory ahead of Tiger, but that's prolly about it. Westwood's putter is consistently less reliable than Woods' is. And Phil has been majorly inconsistent the last couple of years. Rory is consistently trending upwards. Of the guys further down that list, I see DJ and Kaymer (who I don't like) being strong contenders at Augusta this year.

If Tiger gets a high finish between now and the Masters, he will contend. If not, I think his performance yesterday indicates that he will not finish well under pressure. He is not the same as before. However, one or two strong finishes could turn that around.

"I'm not a big Gay guy."

I don't see Kaymer contending at all. He's seriously spooked by Augusta because he has a very hard time hitting the ball right to left. He even tried to change his swing last year to play better at Augusta and it pretty much ruined his season.

Barring injury or someone running away from the field, I'd say it's almost a lock that Tiger is in contention on Sunday.

Kaymer is the modern day Trevino. Some guys just can't play that course. The more interesting bet would be whether Kaymer makes the cut.

I'll take me some Phil at 15-1.

If and it's a big if, but if Phil can control his driver swing like he did yesterday and putt like he did for the majority of the rounds he plays this season, it could be the best season he's ever had. Phil's swing off the tee yesterday, seems the most under control that I've seen.

The people I know that are agents, club reps, etc. all say the same. Tiger will win a couple here and there but golf is Rory's world, we just live in it. Rory will win everything unless he gets hurt or a woman gets in his head (see Tiger Woods). I love the kid and 5 years ago called he'd win a major by 22.

Webb at 40-1 and Dustin Johnson at 25-1 are interesting.

Cabrera at 100-1 and Choi at 60-1 are worth some attention as long shots.
