Welbeck just had a good chance after Sturridge sent him thru, but the angle was tough and the keeper saved. England fully on top, but haven't scored yet.
 
This may have been covered earlier in the thread, but was Opara close at all to getting chosen for this? I know Cronin made it a couple of years ago because we were fielding our B team.

I doubt it. He just came back from injury and hasn't gotten consistent run for SJ.
